Badii JOUABER is Full Professor at Telecom SudParis and at the Institut Polytechnique de Paris.
Since 2021, he is leading the NeSS research team within the SAMOVAR research Lab.
Since 2024, he is Deputy Director of the Wireless Networks and Multimedia Services Department and member of the scientific board of the Networks and IoT community of the IMT.
Badii holds the HDR “Habilation à Diriger les Recherche” from the Université Paris-Saclay (in 2019). In 1998, he received the doctorate Degree in Computer Science from Sorbonne University. He also holds a Master’s degree from the Université de Versailles (1994) and an Engineering degree in Computer Science from ENSI (Ecole Nationale Des Sciences de l’Informatique (ENSI, Tunisia, 1993).
Before joining Telecom SudParis in 2001, Badii worked for Alcatel Research and Innovation (now Nokia Bell Labs) from 1998 to 1999 and for Alcatel Mobile Division (now Nokia) from 1999 to 2000 whre he conducted research activities on resource management for cellular networks.
His research interests include: Wireless Networks (5G, WiFi, IoT), Resource Allocation, Optimization, Wireless Sensor Networks, Mobility Management, Vehicular Networking and Green communications.
