Head of the R3S team within the SAMOVAR research laboratory.

Badii JOUABER is Associate Professor at Telecom SudParis and at the Institut Polytechnique de Paris. He is qualified for Professor positions in Computer Science at French universities from the Conseil national des universités (CNU, section 27).

Badii is graduated from Sorbonne University in 1998 with a doctoral Degree in Computer Science, He also holds a Master’s degree from the Université de Versailles (1994) and an Engineering degree in Computer Science from ENSI (Ecole Nationale Des Sciences de l’Informatique (ENSI, Tunisia, 1993). He obtained the HDR “Habilation à Diriger les Recherche” from the Université of Saclay (in 2019).

After his PhD, Badii worked for Alcatel Research and Innovation (now Nokia Bell Labs) from 1998 to 1999 and for Alcatel Mobile Division (now Nokia) from 1999 to 2000 in optimization and resource management for cellular networks.

In 2001, he joined Télécom SudParis as Associate Professor within the Wireless and Multimedia Services department. His research interests include: Wireless Networks, Resource Allocation, Optimization, Wireless Sensor Networks, Mobility Management, Vehicular Networking and Green communications.

Since 2021, he is leading the R3S research team within the SAMOVAR research Lab.
